The Horses went on a trip to the local shops to buy ingredients to make butter. Before the trip to the shop the children helped to make a shopping list. In the shops they each located items from the shopping list and added them the shopping basket. On return to nursery the children followed the instructions to make butter, adding each ingredient to the tub ready to be mixed. The children each had fun shaking the ingredients together to make butter. They discussed the change in the texture of the ingredients.
