Number Ice Cream Shop

Number Ice Cream Shop

This week the preschool enjoyed a link to their summer curriculum topic with a mathematics ice cream shop role play.

The children enjoyed using their imagination to role play in their Ice Cream Shop with their peers with key links to their mathematics development with matching numeral to quantity ad reciting numbers 1-10.

The children matched the ice cream sprinkles to the number and counted their scoops for their ice cream.

The children were keen to discuss their favourite flavours and taking their familiar adults orders at the shop.
