Grasshoppers Sandwich Bar!
On Thursday, the Grasshoppers had a fantastic time creating their own sandwiches for tea. They began by assisting Chelsea in preparing the ingredients for the sandwich bar, chopping cucumbers, tomatoes, and even grating cheese using the electric food processor. Everyone took part in the preparation, enjoying the chance to explore new skills like cutting and using the processor safely. In the afternoon, they had fun making their sandwiches at the sandwich bar. Each child had the opportunity to independently build their sandwiches, spreading butter on the bread, adding fillings, and cutting them up. They then savoured their creations, making all their hard work a rewarding experience!
