Room On The Broom potions and painting!
To get into the Halloween spirit, the butterflies had a lovely time exploring some activities based on one of their favourite stories- room on the broom! First, the children participated in a sciences experiment. The children carefully poured some vinegar into their cauldron full of ingredients (baking soda, food colouring and bugs), and watched their potion bubble out! The children watched in excitement as they retold parts of the story! Then the children enjoyed using their broom sticks (soft spaghetti) to paint their journey they want to make with the witch and animals from the story. The butterflies did great sharing with their friends throughout both activities! Well done butterflies!
