This week in preschool we enjoyed making a water wall, we utilised our new garden resources to create small pipes for the water to come through, then filled these buckets with the water that was coming through the pipes, The children particularly liked guessing how long each bucket would take to fill and who was able to fill their bucket first, this activity encouraged colour recognition and worked their motor skills. One child said “I think the purple will fill quicker because it’s slightly smaller” whilst another child said “if we use jugs it’ll fill faster” they enjoyed testing ideas, working together and navigating the water wall with ease. They swapped colours and resources and showed an impressive amount of sharing and patience. Preschool you showed great listening and turn taking well done!
