The nursery has had a wonderful and memorable experience watching the chicks hatch over the last two weeks!
The children were fascinated by the changes that took place during the incubation period and eagerly observed the eggs each day, waiting for signs of hatching. Seeing the chicks emerge from their shells was an exciting and magical moment, sparking lots of curiosity and discussion.
The experience provided valuable opportunities for learning about life cycles, growth, and caring for living things. The children enjoyed observing the chicks’ behaviour, watching them become stronger and more active each day, and asking thoughtful questions about their development. This hands-on experience helped to develop their understanding of the natural world while encouraging patience, responsibility, and a sense of wonder.
