Creating the Scene
This morning, the ladybirds had a fantastic time crafting their own backdrop for our minibeast play. We all enjoyed exploring various mark-making tools to design a wonderful setting for our pretend bugs.
Each of us used a selection of coloured paints to create our scene, mixing colours to produce new shades while experimenting with different techniques. We tried paintbrushes, stamps, and rollers, while some of us even explored the paint using our hands. Meanwhile, a few chose to wait for the paint to dry before playing with the bugs instead.
