Grasshoppers Crime Department!
On Wednesday, the Grasshoppers had a wonderful time exploring police role play. They really got into the crime story their teachers had planned for them: the case of the missing toy, Robot Reg!
Together, the children dressed up as police officers, armed themselves with magnifying glasses and clipboards, and set to work finding the missing toy and the culprit. Using their keen detective skills, they discovered Robot Reg hidden in a drawer and realised that Chelsea was the thief! They swiftly arrested Chelsea and rode in their police car to the station, where they took her fingerprints and worked out a sentence.
After acting out the story, all the children enjoyed continuing their play. They loved exploring different aspects of the role, using the cardboard police car, handcuffs, and prison.
