Our little ones have been celebrating autumn with some wonderfully messy painting.
Each tiny palm, dipped in brown , became the spiky coat of a friendly hedgehog.
There were plenty of giggles as we squished and pressed our hands and tools onto the paper.
Sensory play like this builds fine motor skills and early creative confidence.
We also practised words such as "prickly," "brown," and "hedgehog."
