The Grasshoppers explored natural playdough using scissors, flowers, and leaves to create their own unique designs. Before beginning, we discussed how to use the scissors safely and reminded the children to be careful, as scissors can be sharp. The children showed great concentration as they used the scissors to cut the playdough into different shapes and sizes of their choosing. They then explored a variety of flowers and leaves, carefully pressing and arranging them into the playdough to enhance their creations. This activity encouraged creativity, fine motor skill development, and an appreciation of natural materials.
