Water Play (5)

The children have really enjoyed their water play this week, In one tray, our little chefs have been experimenting with pots and pans, splashing away while discovering early mathematical concepts like capacity, volume, and weight. In the other tray, a miniature harbour came to life as children raced boats, sparking fantastic conversations about what sinks, what floats, and why.

Through these simple setups, our toddlers are building fine motor strength, practicing turn-taking, and expanding their vocabulary with descriptive words like "heavy", "full", and "float". It is incredible to see how a simple tray of water can spark so much curiosity, scientific inquiry, and pure joy!
