Autumn Leaf Art
Autumn Leaf Art
Today, the Butterflies have been busy embracing autumn with a wonderfully creative, nature-inspired art activity! As the leaves begin to fall from the trees, they headed outdoors to collect some beautiful autumn leaves before bringing them back to create our very own artwork! The children explored the leaves using a pestle and mortar, crushing and breaking them into smaller pieces to discover their different textures and watch how they changed. The children then created their very own autumnal trees, exploring their creativity and expressing themselves through art. Well done Butterflies!
