This week, our preschool children went on a trip to the park where they went on an investigating adventure. Using magnifying glasses, they explored the environment and searched for natural materials. The children discovered leaves, sticks, and pine cones and enjoyed examining them closely and discussing what they could see. Through these experiences, the children developed their observation skills, curiosity, vocabulary, and understanding of the natural world.
During their investigation, the children also discovered logs where they explored balancing, climbing, and moving in different ways. These experiences supported the development of their gross motor skills, coordination, confidence, and risk assessment as they learned to move safely and challenge themselves physically. The children showed great enthusiasm, teamwork, and problem-solving throughout their outdoor learning adventure.
