Today, our Ladybirds had lots of fun getting creative and experimenting with foam! We made our very own foam rainbows using bottles, wipes and elastic bands.
The children took turns blowing into the bottles and watched with excitement as colourful, bubbly foam appeared! We experimented with different types of blows — gentle blows, big blows and long blows — and noticed how these changed the amount of foam we created. This was a wonderful opportunity to develop our curiosity, turn-taking and understanding of cause and effect.
We then got even more creative and used the foam to make it “snow”! The children clapped their hands together with the foam between them and watched as the bubbly foam fell down like snowy flakes. There were lots of smiles, laughter and excitement as we explored this sensory activity together!
What a fantastic afternoon of exploring, experimenting and learning through play!
Well done Ladybirds
