This week, the babies took part in a colourful painting activity where they decorated a pillowcase that will be displayed in the room. They explored the colours yellow, purple, and orange, using both their hands and paintbrushes to create different marks and patterns on the fabric. The babies enjoyed feeling the paint between their fingers and experimenting with the brushes, making a variety of prints and strokes. They showed curiosity as they mixed the colours and watched the different patterns appear on the pillowcase. Throughout the activity, the babies were engaged, exploring the paint with confidence and expressing their creativity. This activity supported the babies' sensory exploration, creativity, and fine motor development while encouraging hand eye coordination and self expression. They had lots of fun working together to create a colourful display for everyone to enjoy.
