Beach

This week, we brought the beach to Baby Room and created a wonderful seaside sensory experience for the babies to explore and enjoy.
The children had lots of fun digging in the sand, building sandcastles, and exploring blue slime to represent the sea. They enjoyed playing with sea animals and boats in the water and used fishing nets to pretend they were fishing at the seaside. These activities encouraged imaginative play, sensory exploration, and helped to develop their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
To extend the learning further, we incorporated early numeracy into the activity by adding number pebbles into the sand. The babies were introduced to numbers through play as they discovered, touched, and explored the numbered pebbles during their beach adventure.
