Today, our Grasshoppers had a delightful time learning to crochet with Millie and Chelsea. They carefully used their crochet hooks to weave small chains from colourful yarn, each one just the right size for their wrists. Once their chains were complete, they infused them with personal touches by spelling out their names using vibrant beads. With guidance from Millie and Chelsea, they expertly threaded the beads onto their creations.
This engaging activity not only nurtured their fine motor skills as they learned to handle the crochet hook and thread the beads but also helped improve their hand-eye coordination. Pulling the thread through the loops and into the beads took patience and practice, making it a wonderfully productive experience for everyone involved.
