Autumnal sensory experience

This week the babies have been busy exploring all things autumn, we incorporated ICT within our play so we decided to use our light box to explore autumn. We used pumpkins and leaves and then added real leaves to our magnetic tiles so that we could observe the effects the light has when shined through them. The babies had the opportunity to use glue spreaders as mark making tools which provided the added benefit of refining their motor skills particularly their palmar grasp.
