Colour Monsters
Today, the grasshoppers had a delightful time exploring emotions through the colour monsters. We discussed the emotions associated with each colour: green for happiness, blue for sadness, pink for love, red for anger, multicoloured for confusion, black for fear, and yellow for calm. Following that, we reflected on our own feelings and what brings us happiness or sadness.
The children took great pleasure in creating their own colour monsters. Armed with tissue paper, glue, and pencils, they enthusiastically experimented with colours to represent their emotions.
They enjoyed honing their fine motor skills by using glue sticks and pencils, while also developing their pincer grip to handle the tissue paper and decorate their artwork. Everyone took great pride in learning to give meaning and purpose in their creations, relishing the opportunity to express their feelings in a unique and creative way!
