Umbrella Painting

The Ladybirds explored a creative way of painting.

They used clear umbrella's to paint in the outdoors.

Autumnal colours were used to represent the autumn tree's in the distance.

Children were excited to both hold the umbrella and to paint the umbrella from the outside.

Different sized paint brushes were grasped in palmer grips in dominant hands.

A range of marks were made including lines and circles.

Children gave meaning to the marks they made.

It was a fun autumnal activity.
