Translucent Painting
The Ladybirds explored painting on a translucent sheet. The children used paint brushes to dip into paint and then make marks on the sheet. The children used large scale body movement to stretch up and make large scale marks using their whole bodies to explore media and materials. The children made relationships as they looked at each other through the translucent sheet and made marks together. The children added various prime colours which mixed and formed new colours.
