The Horses went to he forest to collect natural objects such as a variety of leaves, stones and sticks. They foraged for the items working collaboratively to fill a bag and take the items back to nursery. On return to nursery the children each selected pieces of clay. The clay was moulded and manipulated using water and rolling pins. Using the rolling pins to create flat pieces of clay. The children then pushed the natural materials into their clay such as leaves and stones. Rolling the rolling pin over the material to create prints in the clay. The children carefullt peeled back leaves and took out stones to reveal the prints in the clay.
