Spring Flower Printing
The Grasshoppers took part in some spring flower printing using broccoli. The children dipped the broccoli into the paint and pressed it down on the paper to create a flower like print. The children experimented with the marks applying more and less paint to see what marks the broccoli left on the paper. The children gave references to flowers and trees they have seen in the local environment, such as commenting 'mine has lots of green'.
