Describing Textures

The Grasshoppers explored a variety of textures.

They explored a variety of describing words and vocabulary to describe the textures.

Blindfolds were worn to increase the sensory experience.

Children told friends if the texture was soft, hard, wet, dry, slimy and much more.

New words were used such as moist and soaked.

Once they described the texture the children guessed the object or material.

Children recorded if the answer was correct.

The children noticed they could record data on paper.
