Hawaiian Summer Party

On Tuesday we had our summer party, the children really enjoyed making their own Mocktails using cocktail shakers and drinking out off pretend coconut shells. We had lots of different inflatables scattered around the garden as well as the children wearing Hula grass skirts and garlands.

Understanding the World  is one of the four specific areas of learning in the EYFS framework, by having the Hawaiian themed party it gave the children an opportunity to explorer Hawaiian dress and their music.
