The Ponies have been learning all about spring and cherry blossoms this week. We learnt that cherry blossoms are the unofficial national flower of Japan and are called “Sakura” in Japan, and we saw a real cherry blossom tree within the local community. We learnt to be respectful when taking from nature, and collected some cherry blossoms to look at while creating our own cherry blossom pictures.
