Zoe started with us in 2018 and is now our Deputy Nursery Manager at Queens Baby Nursery. Many of our parents know Zoe, she has worked across the nurseries over the years. On Tuesday morning Zoe had just arrived at work and noticed an emergency life threatening situation just outside. She parked and rushed out to Queens Road and took over life saving CPR for a person who had endured a heart attack where another member of the public had been delivering CPR. Zoe performed this for about 5 minutes, until he became responsive. The paramedics arrived the other person also delivering CPR described what had happened, the paramedics then took over. It was reported to us that the person was in better health the next day. As a Company we are so proud to have Zoe on our team. We hold 'Millies Mark’, accreditation, https://www.milliesmark.com/ which is paediatric first aid registration where all staff are trained in first aid; it includes CPR for children. Zoe was able to translate this paediatric training for an adult in crisis and did not give up during this person’s crisis. To be involved in saving a person’s life, relying on training for supporting children is an incredible achievement and rightly deserves commendation. Zoe commented, 'Another member of the public was also doing CPR and I was pleased that I was in a position to assist and provide CPR when it was needed.’ Zoe and a member of the public got his heart pumping again and he was responsive when the Ambulance crew turned up.
