Today, the star’s had a wonderful time creating their own potato stamps. They were given the opportunity to carefully cut open a potato, choose and create a stamp design of their choice, and then use paint to make colourful prints.
The star’s approached the activity with great enthusiasm and creativity, eagerly experimenting with different colours and patterns. Throughout the experience, they demonstrated excellent fine motor skills while handling the potato and stamp, as well as developing their hand-eye coordination through the printing process.
This activity also encouraged creativity, imagination, decision-making, and problem-solving as the children selected their designs and explored different ways to use their stamps. They showed confidence and independence when making choices and took pride in their unique creations. Most importantly, the children had lots of fun expressing themselves through art and enjoying a hands-on sensory learning experience.
