Exploring Stained Glass Window

The Stars were fully engaged and excited throughout today’s stained glass window activity. They carefully selected their chosen colours and eagerly mixed the paint into clear glue, showing great focus and independence during the process. The children took turns stirring and observing how the colours changed and blended together before carefully pouring their mixtures into clear lids to create their very own stained glass designs.

Once the creations were left in a safe place to dry, the Stars were amazed to discover that the glue had dried hard and transparent, creating a beautiful see-through effect just like real stained glass windows. This hands-on experience encouraged creativity, fine motor development, and early scientific thinking as the children explored colour mixing and changes in materials. The excitement and sense of pride they showed when seeing their finished creations was wonderful to observe. Well done star’s.
