Over the past two weeks, the children have been talking about friendship and the importance of working together. To support this learning, we created beautiful paper doll suncatchers as a group activity.
The children helped carefully cut out the paper doll shapes and then worked together to decorate them using colourful tissue paper. They shared materials, helped one another and made decisions together.
This activity encouraged the children to develop their fine motor skills, creativity and teamwork while exploring what it means to be a kind and supportive friend. The children enjoyed working together and were proud of their colourful creations, seeing how, by helping one another, they could create something beautiful.
