Today we explored the exciting world of marble painting! We used water and brightly coloured paints to create beautiful, unique patterns.

The children squeezed different colours of paint into the water and watched closely as the colours spread and moved. We talked about the different colours we could see and how bright and vibrant they looked. 

Once we had created our patterns, we looked carefully at the beautiful marbled effect we had made. Every picture was completely different and wonderfully unique!

This activity encouraged creativity, colour recognition, observation and lots of curiosity as we watched the colours come together.
