This week has been full of excitement and wonder at preschool as our chick eggs arrived! The children have been eagerly watching and waiting, checking in throughout the day to see if anything has changed. It has been a fantastic opportunity to talk about life cycles, patience, and caring for living things.

We are delighted to share that three chicks have already hatched! The moment each chick broke through its shell was met with wide eyes, smiles, and lots of curious questions. The children have loved observing how the chicks rest after hatching and slowly begin to fluff up and explore their surroundings.

This experience is helping the children learn in a hands-on way, encouraging their curiosity and understanding of the natural world. We will continue to watch the remaining eggs closely and keep you updated as more chicks (hopefully!) make their appearance.
