Today we all sat down for a whole group painting activity! The children were paired up at random and asked to try and paint their friend. They were encouraged to observe and reflect on skin colour, eye colour and hair colour, which led to some wonderful conversations about our unique differences and how special each of us is in our own way. This activity not only nurtures creativity and fine motor skills but also fosters an appreciation for diversity. By recognising and celebrating each other’s features, the children are enhancing their social skills and building empathy as they learn about one another. Well done everyone!
