Today the Blazes got to try out some musical instruments! The children got started by looking at a guitar and investigating how it made sound. Then they got the chance to play a ukulele (which they affectionately nicknamed baby guitar). The children carefully listened to how to correctly hold the instrument and all did a fantastic job, some even started singing songs while they were strumming away! Next, the children listened to a harmonica be played and they all found the sound very funny! Finally we got to try out a keyboard (a 90’s relic!) and the children loved experimenting with all the different buttons and sounds. It was so lovely to watch the children’s eyes light up as they shared these new experiences with one another. There are some future musicians in the room for sure! Well done everyone!
