Edible Messy Play
This week, the babies have been enjoying more edible messy play through a colourful yoghurt-mixing activity. We wanted to explore colour mixing in a taste-safe way, so we added food colouring to yoghurt for the babies to investigate and enjoy.
The babies became fully engrossed in the activity, using paintbrushes and mark-making tools to mix the different colours together and discover new shades. They loved exploring the different textures and, of course, their favourite part was tasting the yoghurt as they played.
