Today, the Butterflies had lots of fun getting creative as they made their very own jellyfish using paper plates and colourful tissue paper! The children used their imagination and creativity to decorate their paper plates, choosing different colours, sticking on tissue paper and adding their own special touches to bring their jellyfish to life. It was wonderful to see everyone exploring their ideas and creating their own unique sea creatures! While getting creative, the children also enjoyed learning some interesting facts about jellyfish. The children discussed about where jellyfish live (in the sea and oceans), what they eat (small sea creatures and tiny animals) and explored their long, wavy tentacles. The children discovered how jellyfish move through the water, gently drifting and floating along with the ocean currents. This activity was a fantastic opportunity to combine creativity with learning, encouraging the children to develop their fine motor skills through cutting, sticking and decorating, while also expanding their knowledge of marine life and the world around them. Well done, Butterflies! What wonderful jellyfish!
