Yesterday, the ladybirds participated in their very own science experiment. We poured milk into a large tray and took turns adding drops of food colouring. It was mesmerising to watch as the tiny drops transformed into larger, circular shapes in the milk. After we had added all the colours, we introduced some dish soap, and that's when the magic occurred; the colours burst forth in the milk, creating firework-like patterns across the tray.
The ladybirds were captivated by how the colours mixed and exploded throughout the tray. The children exclaimed “wow” and named some of the colours they could see.
Well done, Ladybirds!
