Forest Walk and Stone Painting
This week, the Grasshoppers enjoyed a lovely trip to the forest, where they collected beautiful stones to use for a painting activity. The children had a wonderful time exploring the area, running around and taking in the sights and sounds of nature. Later in the week, they gathered with Millie for a fun painting session. Each child used their fine motor skills to hold the brushes carefully, experimenting with different marks and vibrant colours on their stones.
Once the stones were beautifully painted and dried, the children engaged in an exciting decorating process with glue, adding colourful sand and sparkly glitter to enhance their creations. It was delightful to see their creativity shine through in this hands-on activity!
