Space Week for our under-twos is less about planets and more about development through sensory fun. Singing "Twinkle, Twinkle" and naming the moon and stars builds early vocabulary and listening skills. Posting stars, reaching for foil, and exploring glittery textures strengthen little hands and coordination. Our earth painting was a wonderful messy-play moment, exploring swirls of blue and green while feeling the paint between fingers. Countdown games of "3, 2, 1... blast off" create shared attention, anticipation, and plenty of giggles. Above all, the theme is a vehicle for communication, physical skills, and joyful connection.
