Christmas Fun

During Christmas we took part in lots of festive fun! This included having Christmas dinner at the nursery with some of our local care home residents, our chef Maddie made stuffing with the children in the morning and then we tasted it at lunch time it was delicious! The residents loved it too!

We also had two Christmas shows performed by our Butterflies and our Grasshoppers room. The butterflies performed a different number of Christmas songs and dances for their families and they dressed up as some of our Christmas favourites! Our Grasshoppers also performed their first Nativity in our local St John’s Church for all their families. They recreated the story of how Jesus was born and worked very hard to remember all their songs and lines.

To finish off the week we had an amazing Christmas party with a visit from Father Christmas who gave us all a present to take home for Christmas Eve, we also had a visit from some winter animals and we learnt all about hibernation!
