Sensory Experiences

The Ladybirds took part in a range of sensory activities that require them using their senses. The children explored a painting activity where they were able to paint cling film wrapped abound the table. The children explored making marks both with paint brushes and their hands to create marks on a new texture. The children also explored making marks on foil. Hands were used to mix paint and messy play materials to mix together different textures and form different consistencies. Children talked about the textures and what they were feeling using descriptive words.
