The Horses have been talking about Bonfire night this week in preparation for Firework night this weekend. The children excitedly sat around a campfire to celebrate and talked about the noises they might hear this weekend. The children practised making different sounds to interpret firework's practising phonic sounds such as pop, bang and whiz. The children all had fun toasting marshmallows on the fire watching as the marshmallows turned a different colour and changed in texture from the fire. The children talked about fire safety and how they could maintain their safety next to the fire.
