The children loved their robot reg session today focused on the letter S and the sound it makes! They started by singing the jolly phonics song about the letter s then they learned lots of different actions they could do with their body that all stared with S! They then danced to a song and whenever the music stopped they had to perform one of these S actions. The children swung, skipped, swayed and spun! They then had 5 different words to identify in the garden after listening to them spelt out phonetically. The children did so well with this! Finally they did some playdough dancing, great for the children working on their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
