Tigers created a tuff tray for International Literacy Day on Monday 8th September, where they had shaving foam and lots of different letters. They enjoyed lots of different mark making activities such as chalk and flour where they could see the marks they made and lots of their favourite stories.
For the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and younger children, International Literacy Day focuses on fostering a love of reading and writing through activities like book-sharing, creative mark-making, and storytelling, helping children develop fundamental literacy skills and an early appreciation for stories and words.
