National Story telling week
It was National story telling week from the 31st January, it was lovely that so many parents brought their child's favourite book from home so we could read them with their peers. It was lovely to have a parent who came and read a story to cubs children, which they really enjoyed.
Storytelling for babies (0-12 months) under EYFS focuses on sensory experiences, bonding, and foundational language development rather than just reading text. Effective methods include using puppets, props, varied tones of voice, and interactive elements to build communication, imagination, and early literacy skills.
