Reflections (2)

Some of the children were enjoying the mirrors, where they could see their reflections.

Mirrored activities are important in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) because they support key areas of development, including self-awareness, cognitive development, and language skills, while also providing opportunities for physical movement and sensory exploration.

They help children understand their own bodies and emotions, learn about concepts like reflection and symmetry, and encourage interaction and confidence, aligning with the EYFS principles of a child-centered approach to learning and development.
