A Splash of Springtime Fun

This week in the baby room, we warmly welcomed the arrival of spring with a range of fun and sensory rich activities. The babies thoroughly enjoyed exploring water play, which encouraged their curiosity and engagement through colour, texture, and movement. We set up several trays filled with brightly coloured water to create an inviting and stimulating environment. The green and yellow water trays offered a vibrant visual experience, while the blue water tray was enhanced with delicate flowers, adding a natural and seasonal touch. In the yellow trays, we included small balls and colourful toy fish, giving the babies a variety of objects to reach for, grasp, and explore. The babies had a wonderful time splashing, playing, and getting delightfully wet as they moved between the different trays. This activity not only provided lots of enjoyment but also supported their sensory development, hand eye coordination, and early exploration skills. It was a joyful and refreshing way to celebrate the new season together!
