A Visit to the Police Station!
Following on from the children’s growing interest in people who help us, our toddlers enjoyed an exciting trip to the local police station! The children were full of curiosity as they explored the station and met some friendly police officers.
The officers welcomed us warmly and showed the children around the different police vehicles, including the patrol cars and the big police vans. The children were fascinated by the flashing lights and loud sirens — there were lots of smiles and excitement as they got to take a closer look!
The police officers took the time to explain how they help keep everyone safe in the community. The children listened carefully and asked wonderful questions about the police uniforms, equipment, and what a typical day looks like for an officer.
This visit helped the children develop a deeper understanding of the important role police officers play in our community, while also encouraging their confidence in meeting new people and exploring new environments.
We’re so proud of how curious, polite, and engaged our little learners were throughout the visit. What a fantastic experience to support their learning about the world around them!
