Ark Farm Visit
We had an exciting visit from Ark Farm on Wednesday for their Small Animal Encounters experience. The session gave the children a wonderful opportunity to learn about different animals, providing exposure to a wide variety of textures, movements, and behaviours through hands-on experiences. Ahead of the visit, the children researched and voted for their additional animal choices, selecting Sugar Glider, Skinny Pig, Tree Frog, and Prairie Dog. These joined the usual selection of animals, including rabbits, a range of guinea pigs, a tortoise, a hedgehog, and a friendly farm dog, allowing the children to take an active role in planning the experience and increasing their excitement for the day.
