Ball Drop
This week, the babies took part in a fun physical activity called ball drop. We used ball cascades and a brown box with a ball-shaped hole to encourage the babies to explore and experiment. They enjoyed watching the balls roll down the cascades and showed excitement as they placed the balls into the box.
The babies used their strength and coordination to stand up near the boxes in order to post the balls through the holes. They also attempted to catch the balls as they rolled down the cascades, supporting the development of their hand-eye coordination, balance, and gross motor skills. This activity encouraged movement, exploration, and physical development, and the babies really enjoyed being active as it helped them move around and use their strength to stand. Well done babies!
